Job Summary
Assistant Manager focus on training and developing managerial skills under guidance of an experienced manager. The Manager Assistant trainee program covers people and operations management, including interviewing, hiring, training, coaching, performance management, conflict resolution, HR policy administration, and functional operations within the theater. Responsibilities span customer service excellence, supervising and coaching team members on operational procedures, completing banking transactions, daily paperwork, and company reports, with emphasis on hospitality and guest satisfaction. Requires SERV Safe & Food Handler’s certification, full-service restaurant experience, availability to work holidays, nights, and weekends, and ability to stand, walk, lift, and traverse stairs. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with a professional appearance and self-motivation to drive results.
Required Qualifications
- Full-service restaurant background
- SERV Safe & Food Handler’s certification required
- Availability to work during holidays, nights, and weekends with increased hours during peak times
- The MA position requires standing, walking, lifting, twisting, bending and traversing stairs on a frequent basis
- Professional appearance with a positive, can-do attitude
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
