Job Summary
Assistant Manager needed to support day-to-day operations of a multi-family property under the Property Manager and Regional Manager. Responsibilities include resident satisfaction and retention, managing rent collection and rent roll, preparing financial and leasing reports, auditing leases and files, collecting delinquent balances, processing evictions and notices, leasing apartments as needed, conducting inspections, processing move-ins/move-outs/renewals, training staff on leasing and office operations, composing routine correspondence, resident relations and problem resolution, and stepping in for the property manager in their absence. Requires strong organization, customer service, leasing, marketing, and leadership skills, experience in creative marketing and outreach, and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Certifications such as CPM are preferred but not required, and the employer offers a competitive pay and benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in multi-family
- Excellent property management skills including leasing, marketing, resident relations/control, and customer service
- Proven track record of maximizing the value of real estate
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
