Job Summary
Assist in daily operational needs of a residence and supervision of Direct Care Staff under the Program Manager. Provide direct care to residents and support individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities, mental health needs, brain injuries, or geriatrics. Support supervision of Direct Care Staff to ensure appropriate staffing ratios, performance appraisals, and delivery of services with quality and excellence. Opportunities for career growth through internal promotion within the Center for Disability Services.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Associate’s degree preferred
- Must have a valid NYS Driver’s License in good standing
- Minimum of one (1) year of related experience in the field of developmental disabilities, mental illness, traumatic brain injuries or geriatrics
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
