Job Summary
Assistant Manager responsible for daily operational needs of a residence, supervising Direct Care Staff and supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities; perform direct care; assist the Program Manager with staff supervision, staffing ratios, and ensuring services are delivered with quality and excellence; leadership role with potential for career growth. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent (associate’s degree preferred), valid NYS driver’s license, 1+ year in relevant fields, ability to lift 50 pounds; compensation range $19.80-$20.90 per hour. Location: Queensbury, NY (Capital Region) with an emphasis on inclusive, person-centered care and staff development.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- associate’s degree preferred
- valid NYS Driver’s License in good standing
- Minimum of one (1) year of related experience in developmental disabilities, mental illness, traumatic brain injuries or geriatrics
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
