Job Summary
Assistant Manager responsible for daily operational needs of a residence, direct care to people we support, and supervision of Direct Care Staff to ensure quality services and appropriate staffing. Works under the Program Manager to staff the residence, deliver services with excellence, support leadership development, and contribute to growth opportunities within the organization. Requires leadership capabilities, a valid NYS driver’s license, and experience in relevant care fields.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Associate’s degree preferred
- Must have a valid NYS Driver’s License in good standing
- Minimum of one (1) year of related experience in developmental disabilities, mental illness, traumatic brain injuries or geriatrics
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Strong leadership and people-management skills
- Experience in developmental disabilities, mental illness, traumatic brain injuries, or geriatrics preferred
- Valid NYS driver's license
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
