Job Summary
Assistant Manager at Canal Coffee Company responsible for assisting in scheduling, inventory, and staff training; stepping in to lead the store when the manager isn’t present; delivering quality beverages and food to standard recipes; ensuring outstanding customer service and maintaining store standards; overseeing payroll and shift coverage, inventory control, and staff coaching; collaborating with the General Manager to uphold consistent procedures and a positive team environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School or equivalent
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred
- 1+ years supervisory and/or barista experience in high volume cafe
- Experience in inventory control
- Cash handling experience
- Computer Skills (Word and Excel)
- Meet store operating policies and standards
- Strong leadership and management experience
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- 18 years old minimum
