Job Summary
Prepare supplementary timetables and work programs for temporary single track, line closures, rerouting, and special events to ensure acceptable service levels. Assist in the development and production of timetables, work programs, and schedule material for the rapid division to provide a reliable, responsive schedule that minimizes personnel and rolling stock needs. Manage coordination and production of efficient, economical, and reliable timetables and work programs for NYC Transit Buses.
Required Qualifications
- A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in Management, Engineering, Mathematics, Planning or Transportations Planning, or a closely related field
- Two (2) years of related experience
- One (1) year of which must have been in a supervisory or managerial capacity
- A satisfactory equivalent of education and experience
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with NYCT Bus operations
- Experience with bus service analysis or planning
- Experience with schedule making
