Job Summary
The Assistant Manager (AM) leads restaurant operations to drive profitability, guest service, people development, and efficient operations for a single Burger King location. Responsibilities include inventory management and ordering, asset and facility maintenance, cash control and security procedures, coaching and developing a team of 20–45 hourly staff, and ensuring rapid, accurate food preparation and service within brand standards. The AM supports the Restaurant General Manager, performing duties of an Hourly Shift Coordinator when necessary, and focuses on optimizing profitability, guest satisfaction, and operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- High School Diploma or GED required, 2 years of college preferred
- 1-2 years of previous quick service restaurant experience, experience in management preferred
- Some understanding of P&L interpretation and management influence profitability
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Demonstrated understanding of guest service principles
- Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work long and/or irregular shifts as needed
