Job Summary

Assistant Manager is the operations leader of the restaurant, focusing on profitability, guest service, people development, and operations management. Supports the Restaurant General Manager in managing daily operations of a single restaurant, drives profitability, supervises a team of 20-45 employees (Hourly Shift Coordinators and Team Members), oversees inventory inspections and ordering, asset maintenance, cash control procedures, and ensures adherence to brand standards and speed of service. Responsibilities include coaching and developing staff, directing efficient product preparation and sales for prompt delivery, and stepping in to perform duties of Hourly Shift Coordinator when necessary. Qualifications include age 18+, HS diploma or GED, 1-2 years of quick service restaurant experience with management preferred, some understanding of P&L and profitability, demonstrated leadership and guest-service skills, and availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age

  • 2 years of college preferred
  • 1-2 years of previous quick service restaurant experience
