Job Summary
Assistant Manager leads operations for a single Burger King restaurant, focusing on profitability, guest service, people development, and daily operations; supports the Restaurant General Manager and directly manages 20-45 hourly staff (Shift Coordinators and Team Members); handles inventory inspections, ordering, asset maintenance, and cash control procedures; coaches and provides feedback to team members to raise performance; ensures efficient and accurate preparation and delivery of products within speed-of-service guidelines; ensures adherence to operational and brand standards; may perform duties of Hourly Shift Coordinator when necessary; available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- High School Diploma or GED required, 2 years of college preferred
- 1-2 years of previous quick service restaurant experience, experience in management preferred
- Some understanding of P&L interpretation and management influence profitability
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Demonstrated understanding of guest service principles
- Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work long and/or irregular shifts as needed
