Job Summary
Assistant Manager leads operations for a Burger King restaurant as the operations leader focused on profitability, guest service, people development, and operations management. Supports the Restaurant General Manager in daily operations, manages a team of 20-45 Hourly Shift Coordinators and Team Members, oversees inventory, cash controls, asset maintenance, and adherence to brand standards. Responsibilities include coaching and developing staff, directing efficient preparation and delivery of products, ensuring fast, accurate service in a clean facility, maintaining inventory and asset lists, and performing duties of Hourly Shift Coordinator when necessary. The role emphasizes profitability, guest satisfaction, and consistent execution of operational procedures, with availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- High School Diploma or GED required, 2 years of college preferred
- 1-2 years of previous quick service restaurant experience, experience in management preferred
- Some understanding of P&L interpretation and management influence profitability
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Demonstrated understanding of guest service principles
- Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work long and/or irregular shifts as needed
