Job Summary
Assistant Manager at a Taco Bell unit provides additional management coverage of operating hours and direct supervision of operations, trains employees, responds to guest service needs, and role-models appropriate skills and behaviors to ensure clean, hospitable, accurate, and profitable operation. Responsible for greet-and-serve duties, food preparation, cash handling, inventory and schedule management, coaching and developing team members, maintaining safety and food-safety standards, monitoring speed of service, and analyzing labor and controllable expenses to meet margins and sales targets.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old or older
- High school diploma or GED is required
- Possess a minimum of 6 months in a shift management or supervisory role, preferably in a service-related business
- Legal right to work in the United States
- Have open availability and the ability to work flexible hours and all shifts as needed
- Basic math and reading skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to learn quickly with a can-do attitude
- Comes to work with good hygiene
- Has reliable transportation and able to arrive to work on time
- Demonstrated ability to maintain financial controls and coach and train employees
