Job Summary

Manage full-service dining room and oversee all restaurant operations, including kitchen and dining room processes. Drive Gold Standard Customer Service, supervise HR activities (training, development, scheduling, interviewing, discipline), control food and labor costs, ensure food safety procedures, and work with the management team to meet sales goals. Oversee facility maintenance, inventory, and safe working conditions. Requires ability to work a 52-hour week with varied shifts; opportunities for advancement across nine franchised locations in Kansas and Iowa. Training includes a six-week MIT program to learn all aspects of the Village Inn system. Must demonstrate high energy, strong guest interaction, and leadership to recruit and develop crew members, deliver fast, accurate service, and maintain top-notch customer service.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • college degree preferred
  • Leadership & management qualities
  • Experience in business management and people motivation and must be an excellent communicator
  • FOH or BOH restaurant experience is a plus
  • Successful completion of required training
  • Strong guest service orientation
