Job Summary
Assistant Manager at BigFoot Java with Barista responsibilities and leadership duties: perform Barista duties, lead and train staff, oversee daily equipment maintenance, manage scheduling and labor targets, ensure compliance with health and safety standards, maintain quality service and customer experience, and coordinate with District/Operations Managers. Requires experience in customer service, Barista work, inventory management, and ability to train and lead a team in a fast-paced coffee environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Certified Food Protection Manager Certification (Can schedule and receive once hired)
- 5 years customer service experience
- 2 years of Barista experience
- Experience in JIT inventory management
- Ability to lead a team
- Availability to work around peak hours, including nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays, with rotating schedule
- Training and willingness to continue learning about food and beverage preparation
- Exceptional listening and communication skills
- Ability to walk, bend, and stand for extended periods
- Able to read and speak English proficiently
- Strong ability to multi-task
- Strong basic mathematical skills
- Ability to problem solve quickly
- Ability to follow directions
