Assistant Manager Beverage

Job Summary

Direct smooth, efficient, cost-effective operation of the Beverage Service team, including labor management, scheduling, inventory control, and ensuring all service standards are upheld. Manage Human Resources responsibilities for assigned departments, creating a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, and quality hiring while maintaining compliance with Company policies, legal requirements, and Collective Bargaining Agreements. Create daily floor plans based on schedules, edit and track employee time, and post all bids, memos, and schedules in a timely manner. Resolve guest claims or disputes between team members, ensure staff is scheduled properly, and provide guidance and counsel to all beverage employees. Work varied shifts including weekends and holidays to support the efficient operation of the department and assist the Beverage Manager with projects as required.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two (2) years of related experience
  • High volume restaurant management, beverage management or supervisory experience
  • Basic knowledge of computer software to include Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Basic knowledge of office equipment, i.e., telephone, copier, fax machine
  • Effective listening abilities
  • Strong judgment skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all business contacts
  • Demonstrated experience developing department goals and action plans
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a TAM Card
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Southern Nevada Food Handlers Card
  • Ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work evening, weekends and holiday shifts
  • Must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination, and air quality
  • Ability to balance

  • Ability to push
  • Ability to pull
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
