Job Summary
Oversee banquet setup operations at Wynn Las Vegas with a focus on flawless event execution and luxury service. Partner with the Setup Manager to mentor the Banquet Setup team through scheduling and professional development; coordinate event logistics with meticulous attention to detail; develop refined floor plans in alignment with Fire Marshall guidelines; collaborate with Catering Managers and Banquet Captains to design sophisticated event configurations; manage Fire Marshall Fund accounts; uphold workforce management and payroll accuracy; ensure compliance with personnel protocols; maintain operational excellence on the convention floor through strategic leadership. Overnight shift required at a premier luxury hospitality property.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of progressive experience as a Banquet Set-Up Assistant Manager in a high-volume luxury hospitality setting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience with Opera and POS systems
- Ability to maintain a flexible schedule to meet luxury event operation demands
- Excellent English written and verbal communication; multilingual capabilities highly valued
- Proven ability to collaborate in a dynamic, high-performing team and maintain individual excellence
- Commitment to obtaining and maintaining all required licensing, certifications, and active work credentials for this position
- Must be able to work the overnight shift and maintain operational integrity and service consistency
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
