Job Summary
Oversee daily banquet operations, manage event details, staffing, and menus; support in strategic sales planning, forecasting, and cost/inventory control; supervise banquet staff to ensure guest service excellence and achievement of financial objectives; ensure compliance with F&B policies and procedures; requires Bachelor's degree in Hospitality and 3+ years in Banquet/Catering/Event Management with 2+ years supervisory experience; MS Office proficiency; must obtain Food Handler’s Card and ServSafe within 90 days; may require gaming license and valid driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of career experience in Banquet, Catering, Event Management or Food and Beverage in the hospitality industry
- Minimum of two (2) years of a Supervisory Role or higher in Banquet, Catering or Event Management in the hospitality industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) preferred
- Must obtain and maintain a current Food Handler’s Card
- Must obtain and maintain a ServSafe certification within 90 days of employment
- Authorized Driver: Role requires operation or driving of Tribe-owned vehicles or driving patron vehicles. A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record as determined by the insurance carrier is required.
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Ability to delegate, multi-task, lead and prioritize effectively
- Must maintain confidentiality and act in compliance with laws and regulations
