Job Summary
Assistant Manager at Bandana’s Bar-B-Q responsible for unit operations including food production, guest satisfaction, sanitation and safety, administration, human resources, training, and personal development. Leads shift coverage in GM/AGM/Kitchen Manager absence, ensures menu items are prepared to recipes, maintains cleanliness and sanitation per Health Dept and company standards, supports recruitment and staff development, and upholds guest experience through proactive service, employee motivation, and compliance with company guidelines. Requires ServSafe certification, strong leadership, guest-service orientation, and at least two years of restaurant-management experience; high school diploma or equivalent. Training program emphasized with a 4-week process in St. Louis; location shown as Chesterfield, MO area.
Required Qualifications
- Two years of experience as a Restaurant Manager with experience in all areas of restaurant operations, management, and administration.
- Necessary minimum certifications or licenses: ServSafe certification and a valid driver’s license.
- Necessary minimum knowledge: Knowledge of guest service, food handling and sanitation, and knowledge of the restaurant industry in general.
- Necessary minimum skills: Basic computer skills, motivational skills, listening skills, effective coaching, leadership, and communication.
- Necessary minimum education or specialized training: High school diploma or equivalent.
