Assistant Manager

Oversee store operations and achievement of company goals; supervise the general operations of the store, including opening and closing, implementing Standard Operating Procedures, managing customer service, merchandising, inventory control, price changes, labeling, and cashiering; hire, train, and coach sales associates and cashiers; lead in the Store Manager’s absence and communicate merchandising, cost control, or sales ideas for follow-up; maintain a positive, professional work environment; require standing, walking, lifting up to 40 lbs, and present a neat, positive appearance; education requirement is High School or GED equivalent; prior retail management and hardware retailing experience preferred; four store locations in AZ with in-store operations at Sun City, Sun City West, and Surprise.
