Job Summary
Oversee daily store operations and performance while supporting the General Manager. Lead, coach, and develop team members to ensure high standards for product quality, service, cleanliness, and food safety. Assist with scheduling, inventory, and operational reporting, and handle team and guest concerns with professionalism. Step in to manage the store in the absence of the General Manager. Manage cash handling and customer service, and taste-test products for quality. Requires flexible availability for weeknights, weekends, and holidays, with full-time status based on business needs. TB clearance required if applicable by location.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Previous supervisory or management experience
- Flexible availability (weeknights, weekends, and holidays)
- TB clearance required (if applicable by location)
- Ability to stand, bend, scoop, and stay active throughout your shift
- Comfortable working in warm and cold environments (ovens, prep areas, walk-ins)
- Basic math and computer skills (Microsoft, POS systems)
- Ability to taste-test products for quality
- Cash handling and customer service experience required
- Food handler certification (current or obtained within 30 days)
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and POS technology
Desired Qualifications
- 1–2 years of food service or retail experience preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- General knowledge of food service or pretzel operations is a bonus
- Previous supervisory or management experience (Shift Lead, Assistant Manager, or similar role preferred)
