Job Summary
Oversee daily store operations and performance while supporting the General Manager and stepping in to manage the store during their absence. Lead, coach, and develop team members to ensure high standards for product quality, cleanliness, and food safety, while handling both team and guest concerns with professionalism. Manage scheduling, inventory, and operational reporting to maintain store efficiency. This full-time position offers flexible scheduling based on business needs, including on-duty meals and employee discounts. The role provides training and development programs for career advancement within the team focused on creating moments of joy through freshly baked pretzels.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Previous supervisory or management experience
- Flexible availability (weeknights, weekends, and holidays)
- TB clearance required (if applicable by location)
- 1–2 years of food service or retail experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to stand, bend, scoop, and stay active throughout your shift
- Comfortable working in warm and cold environments (ovens, prep areas, walk-ins)
- Basic math and computer skills (Microsoft, POS systems)
- Ability to taste-test products for quality
- Cash handling and customer service experience
- Food handler certification (current or obtained within 30 days)
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and POS technology
Desired Qualifications
- Shift Lead, Assistant Manager, or similar role
- General knowledge of food service or pretzel operations
