Job Summary

Present findings, review written advice and reports, and deliver recommendations that shape client business strategy. Analyze complex audit and risk advisory issues to address stakeholder needs while building relationships and communicating effectively with clients and teams. Maximize results through collaboration across businesses and borders. This Assistant Manager role requires 3 to 4 years of audit experience in a Chartered Accounting environment, including demonstrated ability with IFRS and International/NZ accounting standards. Candidates must possess strong analytical, numerical, and Excel skills alongside project management capabilities. The position is permanent with a competitive salary of $85,000 to $94,000 p.a. and flexible work arrangements within a 37.5-hour week.

Required Qualifications

  • Global top tier accounting firm experience
  • at least 3 to 4 years' practical experience in providing audit and assurance services in a Chartered Accounting environment
  • professional qualification (i.e., CA or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated ability with IFRS and the International / NZ accounting standards environment
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills combined with sound excel skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
  • Well-developed research and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of audit and risk advisory issues and stakeholder needs to address complex problems
  • Positively influencing clients, teams, and individuals positively by building relationships and communicating effectively
  • Delivering exceptional client service; maximising results while fostering collaboration across businesses and borders
