Job Summary
Manage overall restaurant operations as the second-in-command to the General Manager, overseeing staffing, training, record keeping, guest service, product quality, cleanliness, safety, and regulatory compliance. Ensure adequate performance on all financial and operational measures while maintaining quality, service, and safety standards. Work 10-hour shifts standing most of the time, lifting 25 to 40 pounds and performing continuous bilateral use of fingers and wrists. Communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, guests, and vendors through verbal and written means to complete manual and computer-based bookkeeping and paperwork.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift 25 to 40 pounds
- Use of motion that entails pushing, pulling, stretching, reaching, bending, and continuous bilateral use of fingers and wrists
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally through verbal and written means with employees, supervisors, guests, and vendors
- Ability to accurately complete manual and computer-based bookkeeping, paperwork, and other record keeping
- Ability to monitor and maintain quality, service, cleanliness, and safety standards
- Ability to work 10-hour shifts
- Ability to stand most of the time
