Job Summary
Grow KIL share in the assigned segment (India/APAC) by identifying opportunities and delivering product and process solutions. Act as a regional resource to focus on new business opportunities through Process Optimization Services, CPR and Projects in the respective territory. Serve as a business-development engineer driving training needs for sales engineers and distributor sales engineers; conduct in-plant seminars and quarterly DSE/CPR activities; generate leads through cold calling and close opportunities within defined timeframes. Demonstrate technical product-process machining recommendations, develop field-sales competencies via training and on-the-job demonstrations, and submit monthly reports and a monthly trial case study. Support sales engineers on key projects, look for process re-engineering opportunities at customer shops, drive growth in high-potential accounts through POS/CPP, and travel to customer sites as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering degree or Equivalent with specialization in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering
- 8-10 years of experience in engineering industry
- Willing to travel and meet customers in various geographic locations
- Strong English communication (oral & verbal) preferred
