Job Summary
Recruit, hire, train, develop, and motivate the sales team while assisting the department manager in achieving volume and productivity goals through business planning. Ensure salespeople deliver outstanding customer service by coaching and leading by example, and actively sell on the floor to build loyal customer relationships. Oversee merchandising and presentation standards, manage inventory accuracy, and achieve shrinkage goals. This role supports the Middlesex Commons Rack within Nordstrom's apparel department, offering an hourly wage of $19.25 to $30.75 with performance-based incentives.
Required Qualifications
- A track record of successful results, for example, strong productivity, personal trade, etc.
- Competitive drive and entrepreneurial confidence to succeed in a commission-based environment
- The ability to set and achieve sales goals
- Experience developing and maintaining productive relationships with department and store managers, divisional retail merchandiser and other leaders
- Strong organizational and follow-through skills

- A high school diploma, or equivalent (preferred)
