Job Summary
Recruit, hire, train, develop, and motivate your team while assisting the department manager in achieving volume and productivity goals through a business plan. Teach salespeople to deliver outstanding customer service, ensure merchandising standards are met, and actively sell on the floor to build loyal relationships. Manage inventory accuracy and achieve shrinkage goals while maintaining strong connections with department, store, and divisional leaders. Requires a track record of successful results, competitive drive, and entrepreneurial confidence in a commission-based environment. Minimum of a high school diploma preferred. Salary range $20.97 - $27.00 hourly in Minnesota. Nordstrom offers medical, dental, vision, retirement, PTO, and merchandise discounts.
Required Qualifications
- A track record of successful results, for example, strong productivity, personal trade, etc.
- Competitive drive and entrepreneurial confidence to succeed in a commission-based environment
- The ability to set and achieve sales goals
- Experience developing and maintaining productive relationships with department and store managers, divisional retail merchandiser and other leaders
- Strong organizational and follow-through skills
