Job Summary
Assistant Manager for Maersk Ground Freight Last Mile facility in Franklin, MA. Responsibilities include vendor/contractor relations, resolving shipping discrepancies, coordinating communication between haulers and client management, on-site supervision of haulers and delivery teams, dispatching trucks via GPS, overseeing in-home delivery, maintaining operating reports, and overseeing recruiting and performance of haulers. Requires 5+ years in logistics/supply chain or related field with supervisory experience; proficient in Excel; strong data reporting and cross-functional coordination; on-site 5 days/week schedule (11 am–8 pm). Benefits include medical/dental/vision and 401k. On-site role with no explicit remote options. Pay range: $60,000–$65,000 annually.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Related Field
- Experience in a Supervisor role, including performance reviews of direct reports
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good time management skills
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Strong Excel data-analysis skills
- Strong communication with internal teams and external partners
- On-site presence and ability to manage Haulers/Delivery teams
- Ability to train, plan, assign, and direct work
