Job Summary
Assistant Manager leads the Service Department, supervising personnel, reviewing vehicle inspections, presenting service estimates to inform customers, securing parts required for repairs, assisting customers as needed, achieving sales objectives, managing parts inventory, driving company and store processes, ensuring work quality and integrity, supporting established phone processes, and assisting the Manager in all operations. Travel to other Flynn's locations in the region is required. Knowledge of tire products/services and mechanical service needs, plus a valid driver’s license and MVR checked per pre-employment testing, are needed.
Required Qualifications
- Willing and able to travel to other Flynn's locations in the Region: ex. North Canton, Cuyahoga Falls, Stow, etc.
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
- Knowledge of consumer tire products and services
- Understanding of mechanical service needs and guidelines for state inspections, etc.
- Valid driver’s license, acceptable MVR and pre-employment testing
