Job Summary
Manage the daily activity of the sales floor, backroom, and cash register area according to company policy. Support the Store Manager with all aspects of retail operations including sales, customer service, human resources, training, visual merchandising, and loss prevention. Ensure each customer receives the highest level of service while scheduling staff efficiently and controlling the payroll budget. Assist in hiring, communicate discount policies, and follow corrective action procedures for progressive discipline. Conduct regular spot checks on inventory, maintain clean displays, and ensure accurate cash drawer reconciliations and merchandise receiving. Work varied days and hours, occasionally lifting more than 25 lbs, while adhering to opening, closing, and refund procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High school or equivalent
- One or more years of Store management experience in a retail environment
- Ability to work varied days/hours
- Ability to climb ladders
- Ability to occasionally push, pull and lift more than 25 lbs.
