Job Summary
Lead the final review of sophisticated fund accounting deliverables and act as the technical authority for complex accounting matters. Drive technical excellence by developing standards and methodologies, ensuring compliance with IFRS/GAAP and statutory requirements, and guiding client-specific portfolios and advanced accounting modules (e.g., consolidation, foreign currency, NAV calculations). Oversee preparation and review of NAVs, capital calls, distributions, and investor communications; review SOPs; mentor and coach team members; liaise with internal stakeholders; stay updated on new methodologies and regulations; monitor progress and deadlines; and participate in required training while performing other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA or equivalent professional certification (preferred)
- Advanced certifications or training in specialized areas (e.g., IFRS, GAAP, Taxation) (asset)
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, 4 years of which in corporate accounting
- Experience with complex accounting matters including consolidation and foreign currency transactions
