Job Summary
Assistant Manager supports the General Manager in overseeing store operations including accounting, marketing, customer service, human resources, and food service; hands-on in daily operations; partners with FiveStar team to ensure service quality; trains store team; enforces policies and communications; helps resolve store issues; manages merchandising and inventory levels, pricing, and promotional signage; supports inventory control, equipment maintenance, staffing aligned with labor budget, and timely accounting/documentation; oversees food operation appearance and quality, promotions, and signage; ensures adherence to safety and robbery prevention guidelines; acts as store leader in GM’s absence; learns and understands P&L statements.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- 1+ years of retail management experience and/or equivalent education
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be at least 18
- Professional appearance and a positive attitude
- Team player, customer focused, honest, hardworking, and excellent attendance
- Basic Computer Skills
