Job Summary
The Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting in the overall management of restaurant operations, ensuring adherence to company guest service standards, auditing, and compliance with safety and security policies. Key responsibilities include people development through recruitment and training, employee relations management, financial oversight including tracking expenses and labor management, compliance with food safety standards, and execution of marketing programs. A high school diploma is required along with one year of restaurant management experience, preferably in Quick Service Restaurants (QSR). The role requires reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- One year Restaurant management experience (QSR preferred)
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Reliable transportation, maintain a valid driver’s license and insurance for positions that require driving
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced studies in business, restaurant management, or related field helpful
- Food safety certification according to state or local requirements
