Job Summary
Assist with store operations, customer service and team development. Manage merchandise transfer from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor; perform opening and closing procedures; process directives and record-keeping (payroll, scheduling, cash handling). Maintain promotional effectiveness of store fixtures and displays; assist in ordering merchandise and handling damaged merchandise; ensure loss prevention and security of assets. Support the Store Manager in supervising and developing Store Associates, while maintaining a positive, safe, and professional environment with customers and team members. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store, including bathrooms and floors, and adhere to safety policies. Part-time role at Dollar Tree in Quincy, FL; flexible and at-will employment with standard retail responsibilities and expectations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
