Job Summary
Assistant Manager responsible for operating equipment, processing delivery orders, inventory and paperwork, delivering product to customers, and leading staff. Requires valid driver’s license and a safe driving record, access to an insured delivery vehicle, ability to pass a background check, and open availability. On-the-job orientation and training provided. Must communicate clearly with customers and coworkers, train and lead others, enter orders via computer or touch screen, perform monetary calculations and provide correct change, and navigate delivery routes in varied conditions. Work includes lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods, climbing stairs, and handling tasks in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with safe driving record meeting company standards
- Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
- Must pass a background check
- Open availability
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
- Ability to train and lead
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
- Ability to maintain cost controls
- Ability to navigate to addresses within designated delivery area
- Ability to operate all equipment
- Ability to receive and process telephone orders
- Ability to process monetary transactions and give correct change
