Job Summary
Assistant Manager responsible for operating all equipment, stocking ingredients from delivery area storage, preparing product, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory and completing associated paperwork, and enforcing on-the-job training. Must communicate effectively with customers and co-workers, process orders over the phone and in person, and perform essential math for monetary transactions. Includes physical duties such as lifting, standing for extended periods, assisting with delivery coordination, and handling equipment in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled food-service environment.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver License with safe driving record
- Access to insured vehicle for delivery
- Navigational skills to read a map
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
- Ability to operate a computer keyboard or touch screen
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
- Ability to communicate with customers and co-workers
- Ability to perform basic math including making correct monetary change
