Job Summary
Assistant Manager at a restaurant location in Garden Grove, CA. Responsibilities include operating all equipment, stocking ingredients from delivery area to storage and walk-in cooler, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory and completing related paperwork, cleaning equipment and facility daily, and delivering product by car to customers, including delivering flyers and door hangers. Requires a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record, access to an insured delivery vehicle, and ability to pass a background check with open availability. On-the-job orientation and training provided. Strong communication, leadership, and basic math skills needed to process orders, train staff, manage costs, and enter orders via computer or touch screen. Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with safe driving record meeting company standards
- Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
- Must pass a background check and have open availability
- Orientation and training provided on the job
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
- Ability to train and lead
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
- Must be able to make correct monetary change
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
- Ability to maintain cost controls
- Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
- Must navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes and other delivery sites while carrying product
