Job Summary
Operate all equipment, stock ingredients from delivery areas to storage and walk-in coolers, and prepare products. Receive and process telephone orders while communicating verbally with customers and co-workers. Take inventory, complete associated paperwork, and clean equipment and the facility daily. Deliver pizzas, sides, and beverages by car to customers' doorsteps, navigating designated areas including multi-story buildings and adverse terrain. Carry large cases of ingredients weighing up to 50 pounds and stacks of pizza dough trays. Maintain cost controls and make correct monetary change. Perform occasional climbing duties to change prices on signs and wash walls. Work under varying weather conditions and temperatures ranging from 36 to 90 degrees.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with safe driving record meeting company standards
- Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
- Must pass a background check
- Open availability
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
- Ability to train and lead
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly
- Ability to make correct monetary change
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
- Ability to maintain cost controls
- Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
- Ability to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes and other delivery sites while carrying product
