Job Summary
Operate all equipment, stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, and prepare product while receiving and processing telephone orders. Deliver product by car to customers, including flyers and door hangers, navigating designated areas and adverse terrain. Maintain inventory, complete associated paperwork, and clean equipment and facility daily. Lead team members, train new hires, and make precise monetary calculations and judgments under stress. Perform repetitive tasks involving lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying large items, and working in varying temperatures and cramped quarters. Requires a valid driver's license, safe driving record, and ability to comprehend written instructions.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with safe driving record meeting company standards
- Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
- Must pass a background check
- Open availability
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
- Ability to train and lead
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly
- Must be able to make correct monetary change
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
- Ability to maintain cost controls
- Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
- Must navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes and other delivery sites while carrying product
