Job Summary
Assistant Manager responsibilities in a store environment focused on delivery operations and customer service. Duties include operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory and completing related paperwork, and maintaining clean facilities. Must have navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within the delivery area and be able to navigate stairs and other delivery sites while carrying product. Requires a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record and access to an insured vehicle for delivery, as well as the ability to handle monetary transactions, enter orders, and communicate effectively with customers and team members. The role involves physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, and occasional climbing, with exposure to varied temperatures and food odors.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum age 18
- Valid driver’s license with safe driving record
- Access to insured vehicle for delivery
- Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within delivery area
- Ability to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings
- Ability to add/subtract/multiply/divide accurately (calculator may be used)
- Ability to process orders over the phone and in person
- Ability to enter orders using computer keyboard or touch screen
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks involving bending, reaching, climbing as described in the job duties
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with customers and co-workers
- Ability to handle cash and provide correct monetary change
- Ability to follow instructions and paperwork accurately
- Basic math and clerical duties
