Job Summary
Operate all equipment, stock ingredients from delivery area to storage/work area/walk-in cooler, prepare product, receive and process telephone orders, take inventory and complete related paperwork, and clean equipment and facilities daily. Training is provided on the job. Strong emphasis on communicating written and verbal instructions with customers and co-workers to process orders in person and over the phone. Essential skills include basic arithmetic (adding/subtracting/multiplying/dividing), making correct monetary change, verbal and written communication, and keyboard or touch-screen order entry. Work conditions involve exposure to food odors, variable temperatures, and outside tasks; expect standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and various physical tasks as described (walking, bending, reaching, climbing stairs as needed). Delivery duties for driver/store management roles require a valid driver’s license and an insured vehicle. The role is a typical hourly team member position with in-store responsibilities and occasional delivery duties.
