Job Summary
Assistant Manager to support daily store operations, lead and train team members, ensure exceptional customer service, manage inventory and visual merchandising, assist in hiring and scheduling, ensure policy compliance and safety, handle cash management and reporting, and step in for the Store Manager when needed. Location: Harlingen, TX. Requires 1-2 years in a supervisory role with strong leadership, customer service, problem-solving, and communication skills; proficient with basic computer applications and POS systems; able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds; retail/visual merchandising experience is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail or customer service, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in basic computer applications and point-of-sale systems
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Retail industry knowledge and experience with visual merchandising a plus
