Job Summary
Assist in daily store operations as a store-wide point person during shifts, overseeing cost controls, inventory and cash handling while ensuring high standards of customer service and adherence to Domino’s policies. Responsibilities include supervising staff, processing orders (telephone and in-store), maintaining stock and paperwork, ensuring accuracy with monetary transactions and change, coordinating scheduling and attendance, maintaining cleanliness and product quality, and supporting training and development of team members. Key skills include math accuracy, multitasking, strong communication (verbal and written), ability to operate POS systems, familiarity with inventory control, and a customer-service orientation. This role provides pathway for advancement from assistant manager to general manager or franchisee through demonstrated leadership and store performance.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly
- Verbal, writing, and telephone communication skills
- Ability to process orders over the phone and in person
- Capacity to stock ingredients and manage inventory
- Experience with cash handling and monetary transactions
- Team supervision and leadership capabilities
- Flexibility to manage staffing, paperwork, and scheduling
- Attention to store cleanliness and adherence to standards
- Ability to read maps and locate addresses
- Physical ability to perform job tasks including lifting and moving supplies
- Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance acceptable by company
- Customer service orientation and conflict resolution
- Ability to use a computer keyboard or touchscreen to enter orders
- Knowledge of marketing and profitability concepts
- Transportation to/from work
