Job Summary
Assistant General Manager responsibilities include serving as manager-on-duty and second in command to the General Manager; partnering in recruitment, training, and scheduling; upholding brand standards and company policies; delivering high-quality products and service; maximizing sales and profit; ensuring health, safety, and cleanliness standards; mentoring Team Members; building customer and community relationships; assisting General Manager in marketing efforts; and maintaining inventory control and cash handling. Required Qualifications
- EXCEPTIONAL and POSITIVE attitude
- 18 years of age or older
- Possess reliable transportation as well as valid driver’s license, registration and liability insurance
- Ability to pass background investigation and motor vehicle report
- Previous inventory control, labor costs and computer knowledge
- Ability to create and effectively manage Team Member schedule
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to communicate effectively with Team Members and customers
- Ability to operate a computer keyboard or touch screen
- Aptitude with proprietary software systems PULSE and PWR
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
- Depth perception and vision suitable for in-store tasks
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work under stress and meet quality control standards
- Ability to work with others and as part of a team
- Excellent attendance and punctuality
