Job Summary
Assistant Manager at Edwardsville location (120 E Vandalia St) responsible for leading and supervising shifts, scheduling, training, and performance management; handling cash management and POS transactions; delivering exceptional customer service; maintaining store cleanliness and organization; analyzing operational metrics to identify cost-saving opportunities; delegating tasks and providing feedback to develop the team; collaborating with store leadership on initiatives to drive business goals; and ensuring compliance with standards while lifting/moving items up to 25 pounds. Requires strong math, cash handling, customer service, leadership, POS proficiency, time management, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills; supervisory/management experience is preferred, along with knowledge of inventory control and food safety in retail/food-service environments.
