Job Summary
Stock ingredients from delivery areas to storage, walk-in coolers, and workstations. Prepare products, receive and process telephone orders, and take inventory while completing associated paperwork. Operate all equipment and clean facilities approximately daily. Handle bulk product deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds using a hand truck and carry large cans or pizza sauce. Perform repetitive tasks including stacking items on shelves up to 72 inches high, pushing trays on dollies, and navigating stairs or ladders for maintenance. Work in varying temperatures ranging from 36 degrees in coolers to 90 degrees or higher, with exposure to food odors and hot surfaces. Complete paperwork at a desk or table.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly
- Must be able to make correct monetary change
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
