Assistant Management Accountant

Job Summary
Prepare month-end calculations and balance sheet reconciliations across all Distribution entities, ensuring an accurate close by working day 5. Reconcile internal reports for stakeholders and support the global customer pricing process, including weekly price change reconciliation and annual audit procedures. Maintain detailed process documentation and identify opportunities for consolidation, simplification, and automation within remit. This role reports to the Finance Manager (Distribution) and supports the UK-based Finance team as Fever-Tree evolves its brand strategy for premium carbonated mixers. The position offers an opportunity to study an accounting qualification such as ATT, CIMA, or ACCA while contributing to a leading British exporter's global growth.
Required Qualifications
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent ability to communicate and build relationships with various stakeholders
- Good level of proficiency in excel, able to analyse larger datasets and develop financial reports
- Good understanding of FMCG businesses
- Worked with large ERP systems (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP etc.) and ability to consolidate data from various sources and use initiative to provide insights
- Quick learner with good financial acumen
- Fundamental accounting knowledge, including an understanding of accruals and prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations, journal postings, and profit and loss reporting
