Job Summary
Assistant Maintenance Supervisor leads and mentors a maintenance and janitorial team to ensure asset integrity across residential properties. Responsibilities include supervising daily tasks, diagnosing HVAC/electrical/plumbing/carpentry issues, training staff, responding promptly to resident maintenance requests, conducting move-in/move-out inspections, coordinating with contractors and vendors, managing safety/compliance, and supporting budget and inventory management to operate efficiently. The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills, with preferred associate-level technical training and several years of supervisory maintenance experience.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree or equivalent technical training in residential property maintenance preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in maintenance, with supervisory experience directing a multi-functional maintenance staff
