Job Summary
Conduct routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections on production and facility machinery to ensure proper functionality and minimize downtime. Diagnose mechanical problems, implement preventive maintenance programs, and keep detailed records of work orders and equipment history. Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and assist in installing new equipment while adhering to all safety protocols and regulations. Collaborate with supervisors, operators, and other departments to coordinate operational goals. This role requires 2-3 years of experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, plus basic shop tool use and CMMS knowledge. Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of basic experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance best practices
- Basic shop tool use
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to operate a forklift, scissor lift, and pallet jack
- Must be able to visually inspect machines
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds
- History of Walker Tape
- Background and drug screenings
- E-verify participation
Desired Qualifications
- Light welding experience preferred
