Job Summary
Assistant Maintenance Manager overseeing maintenance operations at a single site to ensure reliability, safety, and performance of engineering assets. Responsibilities include leading safety initiatives, monitoring KPIs (PM/PdM completion, high-severity breakdowns, OEE), managing work orders and SIM tickets, supervising technicians, conducting regular coaching and development, coordinating with MM/RMM, and ensuring compliance with training and safety protocols. Experience in electrical/mechanical maintenance, CMMS usage, and leadership of maintenance teams in a scalable, safety-conscious environment are key. The role emphasizes safety leadership, operational excellence, team development, and client-site collaboration. The position requires flexibility to work all shifts and a strong focus on data-driven maintenance and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years in a management role overseeing maintenance teams and multi-site operations
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering, Management, or related field (preferred) OR 5+ years of relevant management experience
- Certification in maintenance management or reliability (e.g., CMRP, PMP) (preferred)
- Experience with preventive/predictive maintenance
- Proficiency with CMMS
- Ability to work all shifts including holidays and weekends
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb stairs, and work in varying warehouse environments
