Assistant Maintenance Manager

As Assistant Building Maintenance Manager, you’ll lead by example and mentor others while applying hands-on trades skills to preserve and protect the community’s asset value. You’ll handle timely follow-ups on resident service tickets, resolve HVAC/electrical/plumbing and appliance issues, manage make-ready and apartment turnover to enable leasing, execute preventative maintenance programs, maintain building safety and cleanliness, and coordinate with the team to sustain peak operational efficiency. You’ll ensure adherence to building, county, and safety codes, participate in on-call rotations, and bring a safety-minded, detail-oriented, builder’s mindset to a fast-paced property environment. Strong leadership, communication skills, and proficiency with HVAC, plumbing, electrical trades, basic carpentry, and MSDS/OSHA knowledge are required, along with comfort using Microsoft Office and various technology platforms.
